Hamilton College men's crew alum Willy Cowles '09 (Farmington, Conn.) was part of a recent feature on USRowing.org after his boat's performance at the 2013 USRowing National Championships in West Windsor, N.J., on June 28.

Cowles and members of the Potomac Boat Club finished in second place in the men's quadruple sculls at the national team trials on June 26. They went on to win the national championship in the men's quad two days later, and will represent the U.S. at the Samsung World Rowing Cup #3 in Lucerne, Switzerland, from July 12 to July 14.

Cowles, who has won three national titles, also finished second in the men's double finals at the national championships.
