Hamilton College men's basketball player Pat Sullivan '12 (Madison, N.J./Delbarton School) has been selected to the 2011 Division III all-district team in the East Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Sullivan is one of six players on the first team, and one of 11 honored in the region. In February, he was voted the Liberty League offensive player of the year, and was a unanimous choice for first team all-league.

Sullivan helped lead Hamilton (16-10 overall) to the league tournament championship game. He scored 27 points as the Continentals upset tournament top seed Hobart College 62-60 in the semifinals.

Sullivan led the league in scoring at 17.4 points per game, and scored 20 or more points 10 times. He ranked seventh with 6.3 rebounds per game, third in field goal percentage at 51.6 percent and 10th in free-throw percentage at 73.2 percent.

Sullivan was named to the league's team of the week seven times this season. He scored his 1,000th career point against Rensselaer on Feb. 19 in the last game of the regular season, and will enter his senior year with 1,038.

D3hoops.com placed Sullivan on the all-region second team on March 15 when the Division III basketball web site announced its Division III all-region selections. Sullivan was one of six players selected to the 2010-11 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Upstate all-star team on March 22.
