Hamilton students in the New York City Program were fortunate to be hosted by Charlie Mierswa ’84, chief financial officer of the NBA Brooklyn Nets, at the Barclays Center on Nov. 2.
Mierswa took the group on a grand tour of the facility, explaining the importance of different stops along the way and even sharing some of the most intimate spaces within the Barclays Center. He shared with students some of the Nets' front office philosophies for the organization and also discussed his career in the world of sports.
Before the game began, students had the opportunity to go down on the court while the teams were warming up to capture some up-close pictures of the players. Finally, the Hamilton group was treated to some of the best seats in the house to enjoy an exciting Brooklyn Nets victory over the Detroit Pistons.
