Wedbush Bank has announced that Mark Farrell '74, P'11,14 has joined the institution as senior vice president and director of government & institutional banking. In his new role, Farrell will be responsible for leading sales efforts nationwide.

Farrell has over two decades of experience attending to the financial needs of governments and non-profit institutions and has held various positions with major banks in the Oregon and New York markets. He is a member of the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association, the Oregon Association of County Treasurers and Finance Officers, the Oregon Association of School Business Officials and the Special Districts Association of Oregon. He has been profiled in both Who's Who in the West and in Who's Who in Finance and Industry.
After graduating from Hamilton, Farrell went on to earn a master's degree from Tufts University in 1975 and a doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. He earned a master's of business administration degree from Columbia University in 1987.
