Campus food service provider Bon Appétit and local farmers hosted the annual "Eat Local Challenge" on Tuesday, Sept. 29 in the Tolles Pavilion. All of the food served at the lunchtime picnic came from local producers, within a 150-mile radius of campus.
On the Eat Local menu this year were Central New York delicacies as apple cider, honey smoked pork, sweet & sour cabbage salad, roasted corn on the cob, salt potatoes, maple butter roasted acorn squash, baked apples with maple sugar, apple cider and local fruits and cheeses.
