This summer, July 10-19, Jamie Perry '91 will assist Carey Dorn O'Brien in directing the Soccer Academy at Miss Porter’s School, a boarding and day school for girls, in Connecticut. O'Brien was conducted into the Connecticut Girl's Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2006. For two years she played for the San Jose CyberRays and was a member of the 2001 Founder's Cup Championship team. She is currently assistant coach of the women’s soccer team at the University of Connecticut.
Perry has coached soccer on both the high school and the collegiate levels. He became head coach of Miss Porter’s varsity team in 2005, and has since led the girls to increase their victories each season. Last year he was chosen to be the school representative for the Executive Board of the Connecticut Girls' Soccer Coaches Association
Perry played forward on the men’s soccer team while at Hamilton. He was also active in rugby and a member of Theta Delta Chi. He studied English literature, and currently teaching the subject at Miss Porter’s.
