Hamilton has never hosted a NESCAC quarterfinal in men's and women's hockey in the same year. The Continentals are the top seed for the second time in men's conference championship history and they play eighth-seeded Bowdoin College at 1 p.m. Hamilton is the No. 3 seed on the women's side and the Continentals take on sixth-seeded Bowdoin at 4 p.m.
The Hamilton men (17-3-4 overall) finished in first place in the NESCAC standings with an 11-3-4 conference record. The Continentals have won five straight games and are ranked eighth in the D3hockey.com and USCHO.com Division III Top 15 polls.
The Hamilton women (14-7-3) ended up in third place in the NESCAC standings with a 9-5-2 conference record. The Continentals' No. 3 seed is their best in the 16-year history of the NESCAC championship, and their 14 wins this season are a program record. The women are receiving votes in the D3hockey.com and USCHO.com Top 10 polls.
