Hamilton’s co-ed a capella group The Hamiltones, performed at New York University (NYU)  on March 1. The Hamiltones opened for the NYU all-male a cappella group, Mass Transit, and performed four songs.

Members of the Hamiltones are Dave Tackeff ’14, Minou Clark ’14, Divya Seshadri ’15, Dom Veconi ’15, Adam Gwilliam ’15, Sky Aulita ’15, Sarah Hooper ’16, Sean D. Henry ’15, Jack Mortell ’15, Kate Brouns ’17, Katie Conroy ’16, Nick Lucchesi ’16, Tommy Blanchard ’17, Adelaide Fuller ’17 and Matt Dickstein ’17.

The Hamiltones were founded in 1988 and are Hamilton College’s original coed a capella group. In the spring of 2010 they released a CD, Gettin’ ’Toned, which is a compilation of songs from the last nine years. Their second CD, Gin and Tone-ic, was released in fall 2012. The Hamiltones have a varied repertoire, from alternative to popular to rap, with a little Disney mixed in for some childhood nostalgia.
