Students, faculty and staff gathered on Monday, Jan. 16, in the Fillius Events Barn to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Participants shared a dinner of some of King’s favorite foods and engaged in conversation about King’s inspiring words and viewpoints.
The Hamilton community will further honor King on Saturday, Jan. 21, through HAVOC’s 19th annual MLK Day of Service. Some 200 students will spend the day volunteering at a variety of nonprofit organizations and volunteer sites across the Clinton/New Hartford/Utica/Rome area. The annual event is a tribute to King's lifetime of service.
