Naomi Guttman, the Jane Watson Irwin Professor in the Humanities (literature and creative writing), served as a panelist for the 2024 New York Foundation for the Arts fiction fellowships.
This year, NYFA awarded a total of $696,000 to 87 artists ranging in age from 25 to 79 years (including 3 collaborations) throughout New York State. Fellowships were awarded in the following disciplines: Fiction, Folk/Traditional Arts, Interdisciplinary Work, Painting, and Video/Film.
