Professor of English and Creative Writing Naomi Guttman presented “The Sounds of Music: Tuning Into Music as Poetic Source” on June 27 at Casa das Rosas, a literary house in the heart of Sao Paolo, Brazil.
In her presentation and generative workshop, Guttman explored music and poetry by various artists and writers. She covered a variety of approaches to music in poetry – as inspiration, as subject and as an element of language.
