Head Tennis Coach Jared Luteran has announced that Greg Kreitzer '11 will be the new assistant tennis coach at Allegheny College. The men's team is currently 2-0 and the women are 1-1. Kreitzer was captain of the men's tennis team at Hamilton. In 2010-11, he was selected to the NESCAC All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship teams and chosen as an ITA Scholar Athlete. He was a two-time recipient of the Hamilton Scholar Athlete Award.
"We are very excited with the addition of Coach Kreitzer to the Gator Tennis family," said Luteran. "His background, having played in the NESCAC for four years, one of the toughest tennis conferences in the country makes him well prepared for the competition in the NCAC."
At Hamilton, Kreitzer majored in communication and economics and was a member of Alpha Delta Phi.
