It appears that alumnus David Solomon '84 will be Goldman Sachs' next CEO, as the firm's Co-Chief Operating Officer Harvey Schwartz prepares to retire later next month and CEO Lloyd Blankfein reportedly will do so at the end of the year.
Prior to becoming co-chief operating officer with Schwartz, Solomon had co-led the firm's investment banking division.
During the recent Hamilton Board of Trustees meeting on March 2, Solomon had made a guest appearance in Professor Chris Georges' class.
