Assistant Professor of Mathematics Courtney Gibbons co-authored a paper in the current issue of the Journal of Commutative Algebra. In “Non-simplicial decompositions of Betti diagrams of complete intersections,” Gibbons and her co-authors described their investigation of decompositions of Betti diagrams over a polynomial ring within the framework of Boij-Söderberg theory.
The Journal of Commutative Algebra is a publication of the Rocky Mountain Mathematics Consortium (RMMC). According to the RMMC website, the journal “publishes significant results in the area of commutative algebra and closely related fields including algebraic number theory, algebraic geometry, representation theory, semigroups and monoids.”
