Hamilton College midfielder Erin McNally '12 (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake HS) has been selected to the 2009 NCAA Division III All-America team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

McNally was voted to the third team and is one of 48 players honored on three teams. She is the second All-American in Hamilton field hockey history. Anne Hughes '92 made the third team at goalie in 1991.

McNally is a two-time member of the North Atlantic region's all-region team, including the first team this year. She was named the 2008 Liberty League rookie of the year and has been on the all-league first team twice.

McNally tied for ninth in the league with six assists in 2009. She added six goals and finished second on the team with 18 points. She scored the lone goal in Hamilton's league tournament semifinal win against St. Lawrence University on Nov. 4.

Hamilton won a team-record 12 games and shared the league's regular season title for the first time. The Continentals hosted the program's first postseason event in 20 years, won for the first time in league tournament play and received their first bid to the NCAA tournament.
