Chaise LaDousa, the Christian A. Johnson Excellence in Teaching Professor of Anthropology, was recently elected to a three-year term on the executive board of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). His term began following the AAA annual meeting in November.
Founded in 1902, the AAA has a membership of more than 8,000 academic and practicing anthropologists. According to its website, it is the “world’s largest scholarly and professional organization of anthropologists.”
