The Hamilton College men’s squash team won two of three matches to record a ninth-place finish at the NESCAC Championship over the weekend. The Continentals, the ninth seed in the 11-team tournament hosted by Williams College, slipped past Connecticut College 5-4 and trounced Tufts University 9-0 on Saturday.

Joshua Wolpert '16 and Ted Nehrbas '15 rallied from 2-1 deficits to post five-game victories against Conn. College. Wolpert won at the second position and Nehrbas was a winner at the eighth position.
Peter Harrison '15 swept his opponent at the fifth position and Marc Dudzik '16 and David Laub '18 notched 3-1 victories at the fourth and seventh positions, respectively.
Wolpert, Dudzik, Harrison, Laub and Nehrbas were among the eight Continentals who recorded three-game sweeps in the Tufts win. Harrison was Hamilton’s winningest player at the tournament, posting a 3-0 record.
Mac Pivirotto '15 (third position), Walker Lourie '15 (sixth) and Jonathan Ruth '18 (ninth) were 3-0 winners and Teddy Black '15 posted a 3-2 win at the first position.
The Continentals (7-10 overall) return to action on Friday, Feb. 20, when they travel to Trinity College for the National Team Championships.
