
Clyde C. Tuggle '84 was named a senior vice president for Coca-Cola by its board of directors.
He joined the company in 1989, as an associate editor in the Corporate Issues Communications department, later becoming managing editor. In 1992, he was named executive assistant to then Chairman and CEO Roberto C. Goizueta, managing external affairs and communications for the office of the chairman. In 1998, he transferred to the company's Central European Division office in Vienna where he served as director of operations development and deputy to the division president, and later as region manager for Austria. Tuggle returned to Atlanta in 2000 as executive assistant to Chairman and CEO Doug Daft and was elected vice president.
