Professor of Jewish Studies Heidi Ravven recently presented at Arizona State University (ASU) and St Anne’s College, Oxford.
She presented “On Love, Democracy, and Peace: What Spinoza and the New Brain Sciences Teach Us” at the Judaism, Science and Medicine Group Conference at ASU. The theme of the event was “The Many Faces of Love: Judaism, Science and Medicine.”
Ravven presented a lecture titled “Science and Ceremony: Reviving Civil Religion for Democracy” at the Oxford International Symposium on Religious Studies. The event took place at St Anne’s College, Oxford, UK.
