For the 30th consecutive year the ecology class Biology 237 traveled to Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondack high peaks to examine the response of trees to elevational and climatic gradients. The day was a spectacularly clear and beautiful, with intense fall colors in the foliage.

The trip was led by biology professors Ernest Williams and Bill Pfitsch and included: Andy Chen '16, Rob Clayton '15, Marian Eckermann '16, Anne Emanuels '16, Blaire Frett '16, Sarah Fromm '16, Gipper Gailor '15, Sarah Goldmuntz '14, Hilary Gray '15, Hailey Hayman '14, SiLe Li '16, Emma Lonadier '15, Hannah Lyons '14, Lily Marks '15, John McGuinnis '16, Trey Milam '14, Madison Molho '14, Morgan Osborn '14, Emily Rubenstein '16, Nicole Saitta '16, Emily Snider '15, Katharine Tomalonis '14, and Matt Vail '14.
