Bill Harley '77 won a Grammy in the Best Spoken Word Album for Children for his "Yes to Running! Bill Harley Live" at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8. The category is defined as being "For albums consisting of predominantly spoken word vs. music or song."
Harley can be heard on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered," and gives keynote speeches, performances at schools, festivals and theaters across the United States. In 2007 Harley won a Grammy for his album "Blah Blah Blah: Stories About Clams, Swamp Monsters, Pirates & Dogs."
