St. Lawrence University scored at least one run in six of the nine innings, and went on to defeat Hamilton College 8-2 in a non-conference game at DeLutis Field in Rome, N.Y., on April 27.

Hamilton (8-20 overall) hosts Williams College for a three-game New England Small College Athletic Conference West Division series on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30. A single nine-inning game is scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m., and a doubleheader starts at noon on Saturday.

Kevin Prindle '13 went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in for the Continentals. Prindle leads the team with 18 RBI. Joe Buicko '11 chipped in two singles, and leads the team with a .313 batting average. Gabe Klein '14 smacked his fifth double and scored a run, and Lukas Bridenbeck '13 hammered his second triple of the year.

On the mound, Alex Zeig '14 started and took the loss. Zeig pitched five innings, and allowed three runs on five hits and three walks. He also fanned one. Tom Moriarty '14 tossed a scoreless ninth.

St. Lawrence (15-13) grabbed a commanding 6-0 lead with three runs in the top of the sixth. Prindle pulled Hamilton within 6-2 in the bottom of the frame when he singled up the middle to drive in Klein and Wes Mayberry '11. The Saints added single runs in the seventh and eighth for the final margin.
