Hamilton’s Alumni Council has elected four alumni trustees to serve on the Board of Trustees for four-year terms beginning July 1. They are Josie Collier ’97, P’14, Stuart Ingis ’93, Elizabeth Fox Keogh ’94, P’26, and Gillian Zucker ’90. In addition, Adriana Payne ’92 was elected to a two-year term as president of the Alumni Association.

Major: Africana studies
After Hamilton: Collier earned a master’s degree in counseling from SUNY Albany. Now based in Southern Maryland, she is a healthcare information technology consultant.

Collier has served as a class agent, an admission and class reunion volunteer, and as a member of the Alumni Council’s Women in Leadership Committee, the Committee on Equity & Inclusion, and the Multicultural Alumni Relations Committee (MARC), serving as chair of the latter two. As MARC chair, she developed the “Let’s Be Friends” strategy to engage alumni in small settings — coffee shops, wine bars, and people’s homes. Collier was the recipient of the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program’s “Through the Doors of Opportunity Program” Award in 2017. She is the former chair of the Alumni Council/president of the Alumni Association and was co-chair of the Advisory Council, a committee focused on Hamilton’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

 

Stu Ingis ’93

Major: government
After Hamilton: Ingis earned his J.D. at Villanova University. He is recognized as a national leader on internet privacy, data security regulation, and public policy.

Stuart “Stu” P. Ingis ’93

Ingis was president and a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity and participated in the Hamilton Program in Washington, D.C. In addition, he served as program director of WHCL and was a Casstevens Research Scholar at Hamilton. Ingis is now chairman of Venable LLP, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm, where he leads the Technology and Innovation Practice Group. Ingis has participated on panels for alumni on the topics of internet privacy and security issues, and has spoken numerous times over the years to students in the DC Program and on campus. He is working with the Career Center to develop a relationship with Venable for Hamilton students. Since the fall of 2022, Ingis has also arranged for speakers to participate in the College’s Common Ground program and continues to offer assistance to advance the program.

 

Liz Fox Keogh ’94, P’26

Major: economics
After Hamilton: Keogh received a Master of Business Administration degree from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. She currently works part time and pro bono as a college counselor for students from underserved local high schools.

Elizabeth “Liz” Fox Keogh ’94, P’26

Keogh studied economics at Hamilton, where she also played squash, managed WHCL, and served on the Publications Board. Upon graduating, she went on to work in banking in New York City. She and her husband, Kyle Keogh ’94, P’26, both received Master of Business Administration degrees from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business in 1999. She served for 10 years as president for the Class of 1994, leading the class through its 25th reunion and helping plan her recent 30th reunion. Additionally, Keogh has volunteered with the Career Center, conducted alumni admission interviews, and served as the class correspondent for the Hamilton Alumni Review. The Keoghs split their time between Darien, Conn., and Chautauqua, N.Y. They have three children, including Bridget ’26.

 

Gillian B. Zucker ’90

Gillian B. Zucker ’90

Major: creative writing
Minor: religious studies
After Hamilton: Zucker was named the first female president of a major motor sports facility (Auto Club Speedway) and in 2014 was named the first female president of a NBA team (Los Angeles Clippers).

Zucker majored in creative writing and minored in religion, and was a member of the women’s lacrosse and swimming and diving teams. Professionally, in 2005, she was named the first female president of a major motor sports facility (Auto Club Speedway) and in 2014 was named the first female president of a NBA team (Los Angeles Clippers). In addition to her current role with the Clippers, she serves as chief executive for the franchise’s new arena, Intuit Dome, L.A.’s iconic Kia Forum concert venue, the Clippers’ NBA G League franchise, and as a member of the NBA board of governors. Zucker sits on the board of directors for Houlihan Lokey as an audit committee member and chair of the comp committee. For Hamilton, she has volunteered with the Career Center and the Hamilton Fund. She headlined a virtual event for Hamilton in May 2021 and served as the 2022 Commencement speaker.

 

Adriana Payne ’92

Major: Religious Studies
After Hamilton: Payne has been an active Hamilton volunteer, leading the Class of 1992 for many years and serving as chair of the Alumni Council’s Class Leadership Committee until June 2022. 

Adriana S. Payne ’92

Currently vice chair for the Alumni Council, Payne has been an active volunteer for the College, leading the Class of 1992 for many years and encouraging their high level of participation in the Chapel Bell Society, the recurring gift program. She coordinated her class’s 30th reunion and keeps in contact with many classmates, both through personal outreach and the class Facebook group. Always a cheerleader for the Hamilton Fund (including every “give day”), she can be counted on to rally as an advocate, using social media and her friendships to be an influencer. Professionally, Payne is an educational consultant with Smart City Kids in New York City. The company, run by former enrollment directors and educational leaders, helps guide families through the admissions process, nursery school through college.
