At Spring Volunteer Weekend, Saturday, April 4, 2009, the Committee for Kirkland College organized a special afternoon of events to recognize the 40th anniversary of women arriving on College Hill.
"40 Years of Educating Women on the Hill" was a panel discussion of women's education on the Hill from the 60s through the present;

"The Kirkland Generation" was a lively discussion involving both Kirkland alumnae and Hamilton alumni talking about the relationship between the two colleges over the ten-year life span of Kirkland;
"The Kirkland Endowment and the Kirkland Legacy" was an open discussion of this significant piece of Kirkland still operating on the Hill today.
