Hamilton College takes on Williams College in a 2014 NESCAC Volleyball Championship quarterfinal at Tufts University in Medford, Mass., on Friday, Nov. 7.

The match gets underway at 5 p.m. and admission is free of charge. Tufts, which is the No. 1 seed for the championship, will host all three rounds at Cousens and Chase Gymnasiums this weekend. The winners of Friday's four quarterfinals meet in the semifinals on Saturday and the semifinal winners play for the conference title on Sunday at noon.

Hamilton (15-11, 4-6 NESCAC) is the No. 7 seed for this event. The Continentals are in the championship for the first time since it was limited to the top eight teams in 2001. All 11 teams qualified in 1999 and 2000. Anna Brown '15 is ranked second on the program's all-time list with 1,656 career digs. Margaret O'Brien '18 is 13th in NCAA Division III with 1.19 blocks per set.

No. 2 seed Williams (22-4, 8-2) is the defending conference champion and has captured eight NESCAC volleyball titles. The Ephs won 16 of their first 17 matches this year, including a four-set victory against Hamilton at home back on Oct. 3. Williams leads the conference in kills per set and hitting percentage. Tori Jasuta '17 is ranked second in the NESCAC with 330 kills.
