Among the ranks of far-flung recent Hamilton grads is Oliver Magnusson ’17, who works in the London office of Capco, a management consulting firm for banks. We caught up with him recently to ask a few questions.

Students on the Hamilton NYC program were busy with a rather unusual activity last week - The NYC Rat Safari. Under the guidance of Dr. Robert ‘Bobby’ Corrigan, a world-renowned authority on urban rat behavior, we went around the city looking at rat habitats and learning more about these interesting creatures. Accompanying us was Matt Combs '13, now a graduate student in Biology at Fordham University; Dr. Corrigan is his thesis advisor.

Students in the Washington, D.C., Program recently visited Mount Vernon. They were accompanied by program director Alan Cafruny.

Hamilton’s Program in New York City group recently toured Chinatown guided by Hamilton alum Sharon Liu '17 (herself a NYC Program student in 2016). The tour ended with a dim sum lunch at Jing Fong restaurant in Chinatown.

Eleven Hamilton students are trekking in the Annapurna region of Nepal over spring break. The students are members of History Professor Maurice Isserman’s Himalayan Mountaineering class this semester and are supervised on the trip by Assistant Director of Outdoor Leadership Sarah Jillings. Student participants are, Urbana Anam ’21, Matt Casadei ’19, Peter Case ’21, Jake Colangelo ’20, Ruth Coolidge ’21, Elyssa Feuer ’19 Alexandra Hendry ’19, Peter Schavee ’21, Joey West ’22, and Rachel Zuckerman ’19. Former participant and campus EMT Jack Gumina ‘'19 is along as a co-leader and trip medic.

By the time he completes his study abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Julian Perricone ’20 hopes he can say that he learned something every day. He’s taking a range of courses there, including in his major — psychology.
