  • From their very first days on the hill, Hamilton students dedicate major portions of their college careers to community outreach and volunteer service. The Hamilton College COOP, or Community Outreach and Opportunity Project, provides Hamilton students with countless rewarding opportunities to volunteer and lend a helping hand to those in need.

  • Hamilton Association for Volunteering Outreach and Charity (HAVOC) sponsored its 14th annual Dodgeball tournament on Saturday, Nov. 7, and 20 teams raised more than $900 for Team IMPACT. Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization that matches children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses with college athletic teams.

At Hamilton College, a select group of savvy students tapped into their sustainable side and hosted an on-campus fundraising event that appealed to the fashion preferences of the masses.

Launched in 2012, Hamilton Sidekicks works to match college students with 1st through 4th grade students from Clinton Elementary School in pairs to foster lasting mentorships.

  • The Hamilton College Community Farm Garden is moving into its eighth year this fall, but even during the summertime students and staff are busy tending to the ¾ acre plot. The farm was founded in 2007 with the intent to “create a forum where knowledge of food and agriculture is intentionally cultivated to strengthen the relationship between the Hamilton Community and the land that supports (it).”
