  • Students on the Hamilton Program in New York City explored contrasting lifestyles  of the early 1900s when they  recently visited the Museum of the City of New York and the J.P. Morgan Library and Museum.

  • Hamilton’s Program in New York City recently enjoyed an outing to the New York City Ballet's production of "Music Director's Choice" – a fabulous combination of pieces selected by the newly appointed music director Andrew Litton.

  • Students participating in Hamilton’s Program  in New York City recently had the opportunity to visit Facebook. Fabio Freyre ’83 (VP of Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook), gave the students a tour of the New York office and shared his insights about the company. According to Freyre, Facebook’s goal is to connect the world through its family of apps: Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Whatsapp.

  • Students from Hamilton’s Program in New York City recently visited Arthur Levitt Jr. at Bloomberg L.P. Bloomberg is a financial software, data and media company headquartered in Manhattan. Arthur Levitt is an active member of the board as well as the host of Bloomberg Radio’s “A Closer Look With Arthur Levitt.”

  • New York Program students were recently invited to spend the morning at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Students got the opportunity to speak with Andrea Tambalotti, an assistant vice president in the Research and Statistics group at the Fed, and afterwards were treated to a tour of the famous gold vault and a brief overview tour. The group was also joined by Rujun Han '15 who is currently working as a research analyst at the Fed.

  • The Hamilton Program in New York City cohort attended the evening performance of the New York Philharmonic at the newly renamed David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center on Sept. 30. The Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Alan Gilbert, who began his tenure as the NYP music director in 2009 and is the first native New Yorker to hold the post.

  • George Mack ’92, managing director of the Barclays Global Restructuring and Finance Group, recently hosted students from the Hamilton Program in New York City to talk about his experiences in the finance industry as well as encourage some debate about current political and financial issues.

  • Hamilton students recently kicked off their fall semester in New York City by visiting the Whitney Museum's new location in the Meatpacking District. On the guided tour, students witnessed the evolution of American artwork as they traveled from the eighth to fifth floor, which features the most contemporary pieces.

  • Students in the NYC program were given a tour of the Highline, a park/walkway built from the remains of an elevated New York Central Railroad line on April 15. The group’s guide was Hamilton alumnus John Allen ’60 who lives in the Chelsea area with his wife. He had many stories to tell about the neighborhoods surrounding the Highline and the donors who helped make this urban green space possible.

  • Hamilton students in the New York City Program attended the premiere of a new New York Philharmonic symphony by John Adams, “Scheherazade.2-Dramatic Symphony for Violin and Orchestra,” on March 27 in Avery Fischer Hall.
