  • The Hamilton College Departments of Art, Music, and Literature and Creative Writing will present a chamber salon featuring student artwork, chamber music, poetry readings and light refreshments in the Linda Johnson Gallery of the Kennedy Center for Theatre and Studio Arts  on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 1:30 p.m.

  • The Hamilton College Orchestra will present its fall concert on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall. Admission is free and no tickets are required. The orchestra, conducted by Heather Buchman, will perform Mozart Symphony No. 36, Linz; Excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker and Dvorak Czech Suite.

  • The Hamilton College and Community Masterworks Chorale with members of Symphoria will perform Handel’s Messiah on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts on the campus of Hamilton College.

  • Hamilton a capella group Duelly Noted recently took second place in an a capella competition fundraiser for Herkimer High School’s Drama Department. The co-ed group that was founded in 2008 also won the award for best stage presence.

  • Hamilton College Performing Arts continues the fall series with the early music group Pallade Musica on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

  • Cellist Matt Haimovitz brought a unique concert-going experience  to Hamilton  and Clinton on Nov. 6 – a moveable feast of Bach’s Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. He performed at the Taylor Science Atrium, the Howard Diner and the Kirkland Town Library  and then presented a full concert in Wellin Hall on Saturday evening.

  • The Hamilton College Theatre Department announces the Fall Theater production, Beauty and the Beast. Performances will continue Friday, Nov. 6 – Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 11 – Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. There is a matinee performance on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in the new state-of-the-art Romano Theatre within the Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts.

  • Hamilton College Performing Arts continues the fall series presenting cellist Matt Haimovitz. Haimovitz comes to Hamilton with a unique concert-going experience – a moveable feast of Bach’s Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. One suite, accompanied by overtures recently commissioned by Haimovitz, will be performed on Friday, Nov. 6, at three separate locations around campus and in the village of Clinton, with the balance of the suites and overtures in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

  • Hamilton’s Asian Cultural Society (ACS) hosted Diwali with a Bollywood performance by WesMalai from Wesleyan University and DIY Rangoli on Oct. 31.
