  • This week Hamilton celebrates National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Week, which recognizes the College’s Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS) program. The service is available to all community members of the College 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week during the year when classes are in session. The program is made up of student volunteers who all are New York State certified EMTs.

  • Multicultural Mayhem celebrated cultural diversity at Hamilton College on Nov. 4 at the Events Barn. Dance performances by local community members and a student fashion show highlighted the evening.

  • The Hamilton Outing Club held its second leader training course Nov. 5 and 6. The two-day class – in conjunction with the Wilderness First Aid course – qualifies students to lead hiking and backpacking trips.

  • The Hamilton Microfinance Group attended The Commercialization Academy's Demo Day hosted by the ThINCubator in downtown Utica on Oct. 26. Students watched seven tech-startups pitch to a panel of judges and the audience. Two winners were selected for $20,000 cash prize each.

  • President David Wippman and Alex the Mascot welcomed local trick-or-treaters to Buttrick Hall on Halloween as they participated in Hamilton’s annual Trust Treat celebration.
