Research initiated by Assistant Professor of Sociology Jaime Kucinskas at the March for Science was highlighted in a WIRED magazine online article on April 24 titled "Scientists Actually Did Some Science at the March for Science."

Kateri Boucher ’17 recently presented a research paper at the Association for the Sociology of Religion (ASR) conference in Seattle.  Her paper, ‘Too Smart to be Religious?’ Discreet Seeking Amidst Religious Stigma at an Elite College,” was published in Social Inclusion.

Assistant Professor of Sociology Jaime Kucinskas and Professor Larry Isaac of Vanderbilt University presented their research on social movement schools as sites of social development at the 3rd ISA Forum of Sociology in Vienna, Austria, on July 11. Kucinskas also gave a paper at the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) Colloquium in Naples.
