Evan Buitenhuis '18 (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson HS) of the Hamilton College men's hockey team has been named to D3hockey.com's Team of the Week after his performance in the Continentals' unbeaten weekend. Buitenhuis is the first Hamilton player selected for the weekly all-star team, which is in its first season.

The Hamilton College men’s hockey team closed out the 2015 portion of its schedule on a high note, shutting out visiting Williams 1-0 in NESCAC action Saturday at Russell Sage Rink. The shutout marked the first time the Continentals had blanked a nationally ranked opponent (Williams is 14th) since a 3-0 win over eighth-ranked Middlebury Dec. 9, 2011.

The men’s hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie with visiting Middlebury Friday at Russell Sage Rink. The Continentals rallied from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead before the Panthers tied the score midway through the third.

Hamilton College's Robbie Murden '17 (Georgetown, Ontario/Christ the King Catholic) has been selected the NESCAC Men's Hockey Player of the Week.

The men’s hockey team scored twice in a span of 78 seconds on its way to beating visiting Wesleyan 2-1 Sunday. Evan Buitenhuis ‘18 made 44 saves for the Continentals.

The men’s hockey team held a two-goal lead on the defending national champions before visiting Trinity rallied for a 3-2 overtime win Saturday. The Bantams earned the win despite a spectacular effort by Hamilton’s Evan Buitenhuis ’18, who stopped 51 shots in goal.

The annual Men's Hockey Date auction on Dec. 2, sponsored by Student Assembly’s Social Traditions committee, was a huge success, raising $708 for the Kelberman Center.  The Center, founded by cardiologist Dr. Michael Kelberman ’80, is a regional center for excellence for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  The organization provides services to more than 1000 children and adults throughout Central New York and employs more than 175 full and part-time staff.

The Hamilton College men’s hockey team rallied to tie the score twice but host SUNY Canton pushed across the game-winning goal with just 73 seconds left in the third period, handing the Continentals a 3-2 loss in non-league action Saturday at Canton’s Roos House.

The Hamilton College men’s hockey team turned in another strong defensive performance Friday night, posting a 5-1 win over visiting SUNY Canton in a non-conference game at Russell Sage Rink.

Captains Kenny Matheson '16, Tyler Lovejoy '16 and Bennett Hambrook '17 return to lead the Hamilton College men's hockey team into 2015-16. The Continentals strive to continue their upward movement in the NESCAC standings after they moved from ninth place in 2013-14 to sixth with a record of 7-7-4 last season.
