Hamilton College's Nancy Loh '23 posted a goal and an assist and the Continentals' dream season continued with a 3-1 win against the Nazareth College Golden Flyers in a 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship first round game at Hamilton's raucous Russell Sage Rink on Wednesday night.

In an opinion piece about the NCAA’s intention to permit compensation for college athletes, President Wippman posed nine questions that must be considered in designing “a comprehensive, coherent, and equitable solution to the crisis of intercollegiate athletics.”

Hamilton College received an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Championship. The Continentals will take on Oswego State on Saturday, March 11, at the Utica Aud. This is the Continentals' first trip to the NCAA men's hockey championship.

The winter issue of Champion Magazine, the official magazine of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), published an opinion piece titled “Are educational and institutional values at odds?” in which Hamilton’s athletic program was highlighted. Scott Kretchmar, the author of the piece, referenced the college as an example of an institution that promotes “educational values related to participation over institutional values tethered to big-game weekends.”
