  • Having spent a semester studying in Perugia, Italy, Gloribel “Glori” Difo ’20 became so captivated with the city that she decided to take what she saw and learned to create an interdisciplinary senior project: A Walking Tour of Perugia, Italy: Exploring the Building Stones Used in the City’s Construction.

That’s what Jiin Jeong ’21 did, but she took it a step further by creating a video montage of Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No.1, with members of the Hamilton College Orchestra, faculty, and others.

  • Inspired by her study abroad experience in Asia last year, Eliza Renn ’20 is eager to return and learn about education reform in Taiwan. She’ll do that in 2021 as the recipient of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship.

  • The 208th Commencement was unlike any other in Hamilton’s history. Due to COVID-19, the College held a virtual ceremony celebrating the 497 members of the Class of 2020 and honoring many of the annual traditions on Sunday, May 24.

  • Eleni Broadwell ’20, the recipient of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, is eager to teach English in Taiwan next year. “Taiwan has made great strides in the past few decades to move away from rote learning and make schooling more interactive,” Broadwell said. “There’s a greater emphasis on critical thinking skills and the arts, which I think is wonderful.”
