Hamilton College Performing Arts presents Symphoria on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

The Hamilton College Performing Arts Series opens the spring semester with the jazz trio The Bad Plus on Friday, Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

The Hamilton College Department of Music presents the 2017 Choir Musical, Pirates of Penzance, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

The Hamilton College Departments of Art, Music, and Literature and Creative Writing will present a chamber salon featuring student artwork, chamber music, poetry readings on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 1:30 p.m., in the Linda Johnson Gallery of the Kennedy Center for Theatre and Studio Arts.

Hamilton College Performing Arts presents HT Chen & Dancers in South of Gold Mountain on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 pm in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

The Hamilton College and Community Masterworks Chorale with the Hamilton College Choir and members of Symphoria will perform their spring concert on Tuesday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

The Hamilton College Performing Arts Series presents the Robert Glasper Trio on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. Multi-Grammy winner Glasper returns to his acoustic jazz roots in a concert supporting his latest album, Covered.  The album reunites Glasper with bassist Vicente Archer and drummer Damion Reid, who will be performing with Glasper on piano and keys at Hamilton.

Hamilton College Department of Music and Utica Dance, Inc. will collaborate for the second time on a fully-staged production of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11, 12 and 13 in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center, on the Hamilton College campus.  Performance times are Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Hamilton College Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky’s score for the evening performances. The afternoon performances will have recorded music.

The Hamilton College Department of Music presents the Hamilton Jazz Ensemble’s winter concert, “Big Band Bop!” on Monday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m., in Café Opus, McEwen Hall.

Hamilton College Performing Arts continues the fall series with the early music group Pallade Musica on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.
