Bryson Tedford is a Ph.D. candidate in Germanic languages and literature at Columbia University. Her research explores modes of theatrical representation from the 18th century to the present through the lens of “unstageable" plays. She has taught courses on postwar German politics and culture at Columbia and presented research on the influence of Romantic tales on Bauhaus exhibition design. Tedford’s range of interests is unified by its emphasis on the social dimension of aesthetic thought.
