Amani Jayakody
Assistant Professor of Physics
Amani Jayakody received her B.S. in physics from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Connecticut. Her research area is experimental condensed matter physics, focusing on interesting and intriguing physical and quantum properties of different materials systems, which includes oxide and fluoride systems. She also currently serves as a gratis research scientist in the Department of Physics, University of Connecticut.
