Hispanic studies/neuroscience double major Sarah Bargamian ’22 will travel to Spain as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant after graduation.

Computer science major Adam Valencia ’22 was awarded a $10,000 Project for Peace grant, which he’ll use this summer to address inequalities in the technology industry.

Past recipients of Hamilton’s prestigious Bristol Fellowship have ventured around the globe exploring the seahorse trade, kayaking down wild rivers, and living with poor women in marginalized communities, just to name a few.

Jahmali Matthews ’22 has been awarded an FAO Schwarz Fellowship, a highly selective two-year award in social impact that includes a paid position with a leading nonprofit, personalized mentoring, and professional development experiences.

When Dylan Morse ’22 thinks about salmon, he sees more than a pink fish that cooks up nicely on the grill. He sees a connection between people and nature. Salmon build economies and culture in fishing towns and foster spirituality in certain First Nation communities. When climate change threatens Atlantic salmon populations, it threatens people, too.

Once again, Hamilton College has been named a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Top Producing Institution. 13 students were named semi-finalists, 7 received the grant, and two were selected as alternates.

International Summer Research Funding
This new program is designed to support second- and third-year Hamilton students who wish to conduct summer research outside the United States in locations such as universities, government agencies, museums, archives, art galleries, archaeological and historical sites, research libraries, laboratories, and field sites.
