On Monday March 30, the Wellin opened its doors to children from the local community for an afternoon of art, activities, and treats. The Wellin Kids event took a closer look at Alyson Shotz's video animation The Bedroom: Time Lapse, part of her solo exhibition Force of Nature. Parents and their children walked through the exhibition, viewed the animation, and then came to Archive Hall to create and color in their very own pop-up book pages based on Shotz's piece. Kids also participated in the Wellin's Seek and Find challenge and enjoyed brownies and juice.

Join us for Wellin Kids: Ice Cream & Chalk Drawing, on Thursday, June 25 from 2-3pm.
