Habitat for Humanity Home Run 5K & Half-Marathon

Colgate organizes a 5k and half-marathon beginning at the Hamilton Village Green to benefit the Madison County Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
When: April 13 (registration begins at 9 a.m., awards at noon)
Time Commitment: Moderate (3 hours, one-time event)

Kelberman Center for the Walk for Autism

Join the Kelberman Center for the Walk for Autism! The Walk for Autism is the initiative of a group of parents who hope to heighten autism awareness in their communities and raise needed funds that will remain in our area. Please join us as we take steps toward better awareness and more services for those with autism spectrum disorder.
When: April 20
Time Commitment: Moderate (one-time event)

Rome Clean and Green

A Rome-based non-profit looking for help designing the layout of their community garden and planting raised beds.
When: Tentatively scheduled for April 20
Time Commitment: Moderate (3-4 hours, one-time event)

5th Annaul Inter-Generational Spring Clean-Up

Spend a few hours assisting elderly community members with light housework (raking, sweeping, etc.) at their homes. Organized by the Oneida County Youth Bureau. Perfect for a group wishing to bond and volunteer at the same location.
When: April 20 or April 21 (morning until early afternoon)
Time Commitment: Moderate (3-4 hours, one-time event)
