W-2 Electronic Consent

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires us to provide each employee with a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement annually by January 31st.  In prior years, we provided Form W-2 in paper format.  You may consent to receive your W-2 electronically through WebAdvisor in lieu of a paper statement.  

You can access the W-2 Electronic Consent Form directly through MyHamilton.  Click on the Tools tab, then click on W-2 Electronic Consent under Human Resources (login with user ID and password is not required). 

You may also go to https://webadvisor.hamilton.edu and:

  • Click Login
  • Enter your User ID and Password (same as your windows User ID and Password)
  • Click Employees
  • Click W-2 Electronic Consent
  • Select the button to consent to receive your W-2 only in electronic format
  • Click Submit (Electronic W-2 Consent History will now show the date, time, and Consent Given)

If you consent to electronic delivery, you will receive an email notification annually no later than January 31st with the subject line “IMPORTANT TAX RETURN DOCUMENT AVAILABLE”.  Your consent allows you to access, view, and print your electronic W-2 through WebAdvisor.  Your current and future W-2s will be available electronically until you withdraw your consent.
