Kelce (2024)
Larry Platt conceived, wrote and produced this Emmy-award-winning documentary about the off-field life of football star Jason Kelce, which became the most-watched film in Amazon history.
In September 2015 Platt founded The Philadelphia Citizen, a non-profit, nonpartisan, multi-platform news organization focusing on solutions-oriented journalism, with a growing, influential audience of 1.2 million local patriots.
Platt is author of numerous books, including New Jack Jocks: Rebels, Race and the American Athlete (Temple 2002), Keepin’ It Real: A Season at the Crossroads with the NBA (Avon, 1998), Only The Strong Survive: The Odyssey of Allen Iverson (Regan, 2002), and co-author of Every Day I Fight (2015), the New York Times bestselling memoir of ESPN sportscaster and cancer- fighter Stuart Scott. Platt has contributed to the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Playboy, New York magazine, Sports Illustrated and Salon.com
