Leadership Training

Hamilton Alumni Leadership Training (HALT) teaches seniors how to stay actively involved in the life of the College after graduation.

Committee members attend monthly luncheons and receive an inside view about engaging with and volunteering as alumni from members of the College community. Members of HALT are also involved with several committees, including senior gift program, gratitude initiatives and guest speaker series.

The Class of 2016 class recently voted to establish a gift to support the Counseling Center. The Senior Gift will allow enhanced access and reduced cost to services like acupuncture, massage, and yoga. Additionally, speakers (like nutritionists) will be able to come in and offer group talks. This gift, which will help fund these programs for more than a decade, will have a great impact on the lives of many students in the years to come.

2016 Senior Gift Program

  • Consecutive Years of Senior Gifts: 33
  • Participation Goal: 90 percent
  • Campaign Participation: 85 percent
  • Participants (as of April 19, 2016): 421
