Three "Professors of the Year"
Since 1997, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) have honored three Hamilton faculty members as "professors of the year."
- Vivyan Adair, professor of women's studies:
The 2004 New York State Professor of the Year;
- Hong Gang Jin, professor of Chinese:
The 1998 National Baccalaureate Professor of the Year;
- Barbara Tewksbury, professor of geology:
The 1997 New York State Professor of the Year.
Excellence in Teaching
